I know, I know, it's ridiculous how long it has taken me to get the next post up here. I was in denial that I had started a blog, but let's be honest, they're pretty handy for keeping everyone connected. Plus this way I don't fill everyone's inbox with oversized photos of everything.
Anyway, after the wedding on June 21st (which I promise to put a few pictures up), and a solid week in sunny Florida, the newest Hansens moved into their first home together on July 1st. It was a pretty long weekend, but luckily Amber volunteered to chip in and help us out with the heavy lifting. Okay, maybe she helped Kent with the heavy lifting, I tried to avoid as much as I could and designated myself as the Project Foreman and did a great job of directing...
Kent first came to 80 Spruce Street and we loaded all of my organized and well-packed belongings and furniture into the Uhaul and he got one more rendevous with his favorite dog. Then we moved on to Somerville where we attempted to throw the random bags, boxes, and individual items Kent claimed were his. Not to mention the 3 tons of dust and dirt that came with it. Boys apartments are just gross...
Finally we made it over to our new apartment in a whole new town. Here are the "Before" pictures:

The next day we ran to Target and Costco for the vital items you just can't live without...
And yes, he did work hard on creating his Gatorade Rainbow. Martha Stewart will be having him on her next show to demonstrate the process.
We are still trying to figure out which pictures to frame and put on the walls, but we have started to settle in a bit...
